VINEYARD LOCATION: Vineyards “Belvedere” and “Martina” are planted with Barbera grapes and located in Briona. The vineyards were planted in 2002 and 2008.

VARIETY: Barbera 100%, training system: Guyot.

VINTAGE: The grapes were handpicked at the beginning of October and collected in 20 kg baskets. The alcoholic fermentation was conducted in stainless steel tanks, followed by 7 days of maceration. By the end of October, the Malolactic fermentation was finished as well. During spring 2016 the wine was moved to small oak barrels, were it aged until being bottled, in April 2018.


COLOUR: intense deep red with purple shades.

AROMA: refined and vinous, with hints of fruit and jam.

TASTE: full, smooth and persistent. It is elegant without being too intense, but favored  by a full body.

FOOD PAIRINGS: it matches well with meat sauce pasta, roasted and braised meat, game and aged cheese.
